的 共同前进 Initiative was created to achieve the vision of an antiracist institution, and to empower and elevate all students, 有色人种的教职员工, particularly those from Black and Indigenous communities who are historically underrepresented at Oregon State.
Developed under the guidance of the President and Provost’s Leadership Council on Equity, Inclusion and 社会正义, the initiative includes action items in eight categories — 工作人员 and faculty, 公共安全, 移民, 教与学, 学生服务, 领导, marketing and communications and bias response — to build a more equitable university.
Because the United States has a deep-rooted history of marginalization, it’s more important than ever to begin to change the tide.
